Our mission, story, and the people behind India's largest CPR training movement.
To create a CPR-ready India where every citizen possesses the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during cardiac emergencies. We aim to train 1 million Indians in life-saving CPR techniques by 2030, ensuring that help is always within reach.
A nation where no cardiac arrest goes unattended. We envision an India where CPR knowledge is as fundamental as basic literacy — where every community, school, and workplace has trained first responders ready to act when seconds count.
Lifesaver India Foundation was born from a deeply personal experience. When a loved one suffered a sudden cardiac arrest in a crowded market, no one around knew how to perform CPR. Despite being surrounded by hundreds of people, help couldn't arrive in time.
That tragic day sparked a mission — to ensure that no Indian ever feels helpless in a cardiac emergency again. What started as small community workshops in Delhi has grown into India's largest CPR training initiative, the HarHaathCPR campaign.
Today, we've trained over 50,000 people across 200+ cities, and our trained volunteers have saved over 500 documented lives. But we're just getting started. Our goal is to make CPR as common as knowing how to call an ambulance.
